Faculty and Educators One of TLP’s competitive advantages is the breath and quality of its ‘faculty network’, which it leverages to design and deliver programs for our clients. The individuals that comprise the TLP faculty network range from leading academics and thought leaders, such as Vijay Govindarajan and Lynda Gratton to experienced teaching consultants and educators who excel at creating a dynamic learning experience for the participants. The TLP network has a global footprint, which makes it economically viable for our clients to deliver programming in most major cities around the world. Some of the key characteristics that our educators must have include: § Can teach executives and are interested in management § Ability to work co-operatively in a delivery team and to adapt both their materials and their approaches to the needs of the client § Ability to meaningfully combine theory with experience § Ability to think on their feet and to not get trapped in their theory § Gravitas, i.e. the ability to address participants with a sense of authority on the practicalities of management § Ability to relate to the level and management / leadership realities of the participants § Have courage to stop a session if it’s not going well and work with participants and the client organisation to regain the highest level of programme and content effectiveness. § A teaching style that fully engage participants in an interactive and meaningful dialogue on the subject at hand. Educators within our network The educators within our network are team players who value collaboration for their own development
