Jan Dauman

Jan Dauman is a Director of CET, the largest business consulting, and corporate finance firm specialising in Central and Eastern Europe and Russia/CIS. He is also founder and Chief Executive of InterMatrix, the international consulting and business development group focusing on Global Competitiveness and Market Entry. He has been a visiting faculty member at various corporate executive education programmes and at the International Management Institute, the European Management Forum, the London Business School, Babson College and Georgetown School of Foreign Service. Dr. Dauman received a First class honours BSc (Eng.) degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College in London, a Master of Industrial Administration (Yale University) and a PhD in Economics and Business Management (Brunel University, London).

Selected Publications: Jan Dauman is the author of numerous articles and book chapters on international business, public affairs and corporate governance topics. He has also written two books: Business Survival and Social Change (1982); and Business in Balance (1985).

Consulting/ Clients: He has been an advisor to US AID on its the market and technology access programme for developing countries; the Taiwan government on inward investments; the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in Russia, on public policy issues; and the Chernobyl Fund in Russia. He is a member of the International Advisory Committee of the American Assembly and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Kinnerton Research Centre, focusing on international corruption, and an advisor to the Prince of Wales International Business Leaders Forum.
