Christopher Lloyd
Expert in the fields of IT and New Media
Christopher Lloyd is currently CEO of Immersive Education, an e-learning joint venture between Intel & Oxford University, developing software for schools and homes. Christopher Lloyd graduated with a Double First Class Honours degree in History at Peterhouse, Cambridge. He is best known for developing and designing the first Internet Editions of The Times and Sunday Times (launched in 1996), and is widely acknowledged as an expert in the fields of IT and New Media.
Lloyd previously worked for News International, becoming the founding Director of ‘NI Connect’ (the CRM and customer service division) in 2000, and prior to this as Chief Operating Officer of ‘New Network’ (the Internet and e-commerce arm). Chris co-founded the pioneering content and access based ISP for the UK Market, LineOne, a joint venture between News International, BT and United News & Media, in 1996. His knowledge of New Media Technology Innovation has made him much in demand by corporate clients wishing to receive an ‘insider’ angle from someone with working experience and expertise on IT and CRM issues.
